She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Burris (Hall) and Paul Burris; and her brother Don Burris of Virden, IL.. She is survived by : her husband John Sommer; her sister-in-law Helen Burris; her nieces and nephews, Laurie Sweet (Ralph) and Julie Sommer; and her grandchildren, Marcell, Ivan and Angela Kincses.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2241 Main St, Torrington, WY 82240).
