He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Korell and Rachael Korell (Heckman); and his brothers, Alan and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Beth Johnson; his children, Patrick and Lori; his grandchildren, Walker, Madison and Emma; his siblings, Gary Korell, Kathy Rose (Bob) and Kayleen Wunder (Dan); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Hayden Korell and Teri Hunt Korell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colyer Funeral Home (2935 Main St, Torrington, WY 82240). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (2102 East E Street, Torrington, WY 82240).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern Wyoming College Foundation to support agriculture-related endeavors, honoring Wayne's lifelong passion for farming, ranching, and education or to the First Congregational Church in Torrington to honor his faith.
