He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; his brother Jelmer; his siblings-in-law, Roxanna, Linda and Mike Brown; and his parents-in-law, Rollie and Pete Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Gene (Lindsay), Karl (Christi) and Tyler (Myrrah); his brother James (Lynda); and his grandchildren, Karlie, Avary, Michael, Sydnee and Wyatt. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colyer Funeral Home (2935 Main St, Torrington, WY 82240). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (605 E 22nd Ave, Torrington, WY 82240).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either St. Rose Catholic Church, Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center or to the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
