He is survived by: his wife Sharon Benjamin of Wheatland; his children, Samantha Howe (Cody), Casey Cortney (Rob), Doug McCarty (Crystle), Tabitha Smith, Kristi Edwards (Dana), Larry Benjamin (Audrey), Shannon Curry and Shawna Purvis (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Rebekah Kauffman (Justin), Hadassah, Elia and Kezia; his family, Clay Howe (Kris), Matthew, Zach, Samuel, Ian Howe (Topanga), Elisabeth Howe, Lydia Howe, Ben Howe, Gideon Howe, Timothy Howe, Daniel McCarty, Cora McCarty, Chad Cogdill, Sadeth, Jadyn White, Keynyn, Braydon Cortney, Jesse Cortney, Nick Edwards (Taylor), Sadie, Taylor Edwards, Jevin Curry, Pierce Curry, Cambryn Purvis and Kyler Purvis; his brother Steve McCarty (SteeV); and his close friend Larry Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
