As we bid adieu to Darlene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Darlene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis McNew and Thelma Paustian; her son Claude A. "Bud" Smith; and her brothers, Robert Loftice, Bob and George Frisbee.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Smith (Renee), Steve Smith (Terri) and Lorette Redding (Richard); and her siblings, Bonnie Frisbee, Ricky Loftice (Cindy) and Keith Accorn (Margo). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the American Legion.
