She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucian J. Balzan and Rose E. Balzan (Carollo); her son Rex Dawson; and her sisters, Carolyn Balzan and Marilyn Tinsley.

She is survived by : her husband Huey A. Dawson; her son Dale (Donna); her grandson Dante; her son Billy (Chrissy); her grandchildren, Gavrielle of Wheatland, Wyoming, Bianca of Wheatland, Wyoming and Will Dawson (Brooke) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and her sister Lou Alcorn (Tom) of Rock Springs, Wyoming..

Lena requested that memorial donations be sent to Platte County Legacy Nursing Home, 100 19th St, Wheatland, WY 82201.
