He is survived by: his siblings, Jack Whelchel, Stephen Whelchel of Des Moines, IA, Patti Ann Ancell of Lovington, NM, Anastasia Whelchel of Irving, TX and Julia Bradley of Hobbs, NM.; his children, Taran Whelchel of Wheatland, WY, Skylar Ferris (Jason) of Columbia, TN, Serenity Whelchel of Petersburg, KY and Denise Whelchel (James) of Decatur, TX; his grandchildren, Gideon Shouse, Tyberius, Phoebe and Tobias Cross; his daughter Liz Bagshaw (Jeff) of Firestone, CO; his grandchildren, Brook Stivason (Angel) of Castroville, TX and Ally Bagshaw of Milliken, CO; his daughter Angie Frailey (Randy) of Castle Rock, CO; his grandchildren, Autumn Frailey-Reimer of Hecla, SD and Austin; his sons, Mason, Caden Frailey of Castle Rock, CO and Nathan Lizakowski (Nicole) of Broomfield, CO; his grandchild Chase Lizakowski; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Zealand Stivason, Nevaeh, Ember, Kennedi, Amara and Silas Reimer.
