He was predeceased by: his siblings, Arthur Schatz and Grace Lowry. He is survived by: his wife Lynda of Worland, Wyoming; his children, Rob Schatz of Cheyenne, Troy Schatz (Tana) of Cody, Michael Schatz (Wendy) of Phoenix, Arizona and Tammy Strebel (Ken) of Plain City, Utah; his adoptive daughters, Stevie Lee of Riverton and Tara Revolinski May of Powell; his brother Gene Schatz of Lovell Wyoming; his grandchildren, Jen, Mandy, Sam, Joshua and Shelby; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Korbin, Avery, Eli, Lily and Quentin.

Memorial donations may be made to The Wyoming Trucking Association to help upcoming drivers with their licensing.

Growing up I knew Chris, Gene, Art, and Grace when they lived in Iona. I knew their Dad Chris also. I swear that fellow with his vocabulary could peel the paint off a wall.
