He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Shipley and Phyllis Genelle Shipley; his wife Wanda Shipley; and his sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Shipley and Margaret "Peggy" Shipley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Shipley, Jim Shipley, Curtis Dye, Ellen Conrad and Linda Shipley; his children, Tyler Shipley, Michael Shipley (Michelle) and Andrea Shipley (Drew Weston); his grandchildren, Bailey Mitzel (Trevor), Hannah Shipley and Harper "Kit" Shipley-Weston; and his great grandchildren, Violit, Misa and Dexter Mitzel.
