He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hake and Barbara Smith Hake; his stepmother Pearl Marie Hake; his sister Janis Palmer; his brother-in-law John Palmer; and his nephew Kevin Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Hake; and his children, Jed Hake (Angela), Emily Hake, Ben Hake (Dusty) and Jonathan Hake (Sadami). He is also survived by six grandchildren, two granddogs, and two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
