He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Naudren Chlarson and Joy Olivine Thompson; and his daughter Susan Beyer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee; his children, Jerry Chlarson, Shane Chlarson, Michelle Chlarson, Phoenix, Shelly Warner and Page; and his siblings, Michael Chlarson, Shawn Chlarson, Linda Prather and Karla Schaffer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

“So sad to hear of H. R.'S passing. He was one of the good guys from our Class of 57' when we left Show Low Elementary and started high school at Snowflake UNION High School. We were just a regular group of kids, nothing special, but we were good FRIENDS. It's sad so many are gone now, Jay, Randy, Ivan, it was great seeing H.R. and his wife at our class reunions, every trunion we seemed to love and appreciate the friendship we shared for over 65 years.
