He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Herbert and Florence McKenna; and his brother-in-law Bryan Allred. He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Joseph McKenna and Deborah Sue Mills McKenna; his children, Garrett Levi McKenna, Kelan Jordan Greer McKenna and Teresa "Paige" McKenna; his sisters, Melissa Allred, Catie Swapp (Shane) and Kelly Soderquist (Jeff); and his grandmother Ida Dean Mills. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
