He is survived by: his fiancé Merlinda Chavez (Christina Barreras); his children, Manuel Montoya, Gabriel Montoya, Christopher Montoya and Denise Diaz; and his sisters, Alberta Apodaca-Brice, Barbara Apodaca and Stella. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
