He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Schmitt; his father Charles Joseph Schmitt; his sisters, Teletha Elossais (Moses), Tammy Schamuhn and Taffy Loveless (Kurt); his sons, Joshua and Matt Ellis; his grandchildren, Madison Ellis, Gavin Ellis and Brennan Ellis; his uncle Fred; and his aunt Carolyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews as well as cousins.
