He is survived by: his children, Randi, Michael, II (Kristi) and Sam (Amy); his grandchildren, Gunnar Carter and Ivy Jo Carter; and his siblings, Earl (Cheryl), Carl (Brooke) and Margaret Parkin (Ronald). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
