She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Tapping and Thelma Tapping; and her brother Bill Tapping. She is survived by: her husband Fred Michaelis; her sons, Mark Allsworth (Tina) and Rob Michaelis (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Cameron Allsworth (Caitlin), Brennan Allsworth (Mo), Madeline Michaelis and Wes Michaelis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
