He is survived by: his parents, Carla Koch (Werth) and Jeffrey Koch of Midland; his stepfather Gary Shintani of Manton; his grandmother Carol Werth; his brothers, Joshua Koch (Alexsis) of Midland and Jordan Koch (Shelby Scarla) of Kent City; his cousins, Shannon Lorenz (Michael Miller) of Ada, Kyle Lorenz (Rylee Welsh) of Ada, Nanclynn Clark of Augres, Deanna Davidson (Rick) of Naples and Tracey Bielby (Kirk) of West Branch; and his pets, Elizabeth Grace, Josephine and Robyn. He is also survived by several aunts/uncles.
