It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LeRoy Kenneth Messenger (Surprise, Arizona), born in Pisgah, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale E Messenger and Donna M Messenger (Cooper). He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Lawson; his sons, David (Colleen), Michael (Kristina) and Matthew (Margaret); his grandchildren, Tyler Messenger (Josey), Jacob Messenger (Becca), Paige, Ainsley, Camden, Ellie, Maxton, Monroe and Hayden Messenger; his brothers, Richard, Keith (Peanut) and Doug (Dee); and his sisters-in-law, Julia Lawson Graham (John) and Becky Lawson Brownlee Comer (Al). He is also survived by 4 nephews and 1 niece, an aunt, uncle and many cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Song United Methodist Church (16303 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: New Song United Methodist Church, Surprise, Arizona, Barrow Brain and Spine Foundation, Hospice of the Valley.
