He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl D. Troute and Dorothy A. Troute (Hathaway); his brother Rex H. Troute; his cousin Paul D. Price; and his sister-in-law Vickie Hofferkamp (Rodney).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Childers; his daughters, Lisa C. Seitzer and Stacia A. Saporta; his grandchildren, Brandon Seitzer (Jessica), Cameron Seitzer, Monica Grana (Travis), Nathan Saporta and Luke Saporta (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Weston, Max, Crew, Cali and Lily; and his sister-in-law Darlene Troute of Burlington, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
