She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Howell and Madeline Howell; her husband Carl Garland; and her siblings, Merlin Howell, Vonetta Egli and Peggy Ellett.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Cordova (Gilbert), Mitch Garland (Sharon) and David Garland (Bridget); her siblings, Sally Heathcoat and Casey Howell (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Colby, Candace, Michael, Melissa, Kady, Maria, Danny and Alexis. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
