It is with sadness that the passing of Vonda Lee Maitlen in Surprise, Arizona is shared. Vonda, born on January 22, 1933, passed away on August 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Vonda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Schmitt and Grace Schmitt (Aye); her husband Robert Maitlen; her grandson Matthew Wilson; and her daughter-in-law Sue Ryan Maitlen.
She is survived by: her children, Leonna Kline (Al), Taunia Wilson (Dave) and Steve Maitlen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation, a cause close to Vonda's heart.
