He is survived by: his father Joseph Wood Smith; his sister Patty Jo Maynard; his pets, Duke, Beagle Joe, Jen-Jen, Little Joe and Katie Bell; his wife Linda Smith; his daughters, Teresa A. Jones (Bugs), Denise K. Smith (Sugar Bear) and Jodie L. Hamilton (Skibo); and his grandchildren, Kenny B. White, Lacelyn W. Jones, Clinton W. Jones and Nicholas A. Smith. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
She walked beside him through the most difficult stages of Alzheimer's disease, facing the heartbreak, confusion, and exhaustion that this illness brings.
