He is survived by: his wife Betty June Thompkins; his children, Jeff Simmons, Lisa Townsend and Michael Thompkins; his grandchildren, Sabrina, Brian, Megan, Britt, Justin, Lauren, Maria and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Lexi, Dion, Jackson, Chase, Cali, Colby, Levi, Skylar and Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Aiden, Isla, Amelia and Paisley; and his siblings, Cynthia Griffiths (Rich), Anita Whitty, Wayne Thompkins (Shirl), Phil Thompkins (Tammy) and Tina Blount (Tracy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
