He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Haas and Esther Haas (Achtenberg); his wife Evelyn Sowers; and his son Steven. He is survived by: his children, LuAnne Hinten (Joe), Lisa Tribbett (Kurt), Linda O'Brien, Brian Haas and Jim Haas (Kate). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
