She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Austin (Speck) and John Austin; her husband Harry B. Cheesbrough III; her former life partner James Carnathan; and her brother John Austin.

She is survived by : her children, Tina Carnathan-Marx (Joe) of Florida and Richard Carnathan (Donna) of Pennsville, PA; her stepdaughters, Melissa Koch (Trevor) and Mindy Cheesbrough of Slatington; and her sister Sandy Carroll (David) of South Carolina. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
