She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rumbarger (Bill) and Frances Rumbarger of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her sisters, Dorothy Burgin of Cape May and Faye Daniels of Mystic Island; her brothers-in-law, Harry Hawkins of Holiday, John Daniels (Jack) of Mystic Island and Charles Dittmer (Chuck) of Columbus, Ohio; her niece Kathleen Connor (Kat) of Cape May; and her nephew William Hughes (Billy) of Aston, Pennsylvania..
She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Simms of Holiday; her sons, Thomas W. Simms and Robert E. Simms (Amanda) of Nokesville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Justin, Jacob Simms, Aoife, Tristian and Robert J. Simms of Nokesville, Virginia; her sisters, Helen Dittmer of Columbus, Ohio and Marie Hawkins-Byrne (James Byrne) of Holiday, Florida; and her great-nephew Patrick Church of Wichita, Kansas.. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
