She was predeceased by: her husband Coy Lavern Tyson; and her siblings, Leon Sullivan of Cherokee and Audra. She is survived by: her children, Tina Allen (Russell Allen) of Clermont, Sheila Renee Tyson of Bushnell, Michael Lavern Tyson (Jada Tyson) of Eustis and Edna Denise York (Alvin York) of Center Hill, Florida.; and her brothers, Allen Gaffney of Pierson, Paul Gaffney of Loughman, George Sullivan of Kissimmee and Richard Sullivan of Kissimmee, Florida.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brewer & Sons Funeral Home Clermont Chapel (1018 West Ave, Clermont, FL 34711). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Duke Community Cemetery.
