John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Mahon of Galway and Helen Cox of Roscommon, Ireland.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bennett; and his children, Jack, Maureen, Ann and Megan. He is also survived by four children, thirteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (8320 Old County Rd 54, New Port Richey, FL 34653). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
