With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Meeks of Seminole, Florida. Robert, born on August 24, 1946 in Saint Petersburg, Florida, passed away on August 10, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Meeks to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Carl Meeks; his son Bobby Meeks; and his mother-in-law Jean Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Dodie Hopkins Meeks; his daughters, Kimberly Meeks Laughlin (Chris) and Jennifer Meeks Maciuba (Keith); his granddaughters, Kalie Laughlin, Isa Laughlin, Kacee Maciuba and Kandace Maciuba; and his brothers, Richard Bohannan and Randy Bohannan. He is also survived by extended family and the many friends.
In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bob Meeks Bikes for Books program so that the work he began can continue encouraging young readers for years to come.
