He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Robert and Helen Humphrey; his brother Marion; his children, Joyce and Vernon; his grandchildren, Dawn and Shawn; his great grandchild Linda (Murray); his daughter Gail (Mike); his grandchildren, Jason and Heather; his daughter Robin (Mike); his grandsons, Mike and Ricky; and his children, Mike (Dawn), Kourtney and Kelsey.
A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brewer & Sons Funeral Home Seven Hills Chapel (280 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
In lieu of flowers it is requested that a memorial donation be made in Robert's name to his Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8681 in Springhill, Florida or The Wounded Warriors Project.
