She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Martin Fredrich Abs and Elizabeth Abs (Gester); her brother Henry Abs; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Kleppinger and Richard Kleppinger.
She is survived by: her husband William Francis Hopkins; her children, Susan, Elizabeth Jager (Scott) of Brooksville, FL, Timothy David Hopkins (Rebecca) of Inman, SC, Julie Ann, Dietterich (Robert) of Souderton, PA, Jonathan Mark Hopkins (Trisha) of Saskatoon and Saskatchewan; her grandchildren, Shanna Leigh Cancel, Chelsea Elizabeth Hunter (Ryan), Corin, Elizabeth Dickinson (James), Sierra Alexandra Fee (Shaun), Robert Patrick Dietterich (TaMia), Andrew, Christopher Hopkins, Jonathan Luke Hopkins, Kaden William Hopkins, Owen Matthew Hopkins and Emily Joyce Hopkins; her great grandchildren, John William Louis Cancel, Micah Earl Hunter, Mason Scott Hunter, Desmond James Dickinson, Levi David Fee and Layla Joan Dickinson; and her sister-in-law Janet Abs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Florida Lighthouse Tabernacle (8400 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34613).
