He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dearborn and Ruth Dearborn; and his brother Eric Dearborn. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Dearborn (Sarah) and Matthew Dearborn (Erin); his grandchildren, David Gage Dearborn, Reagan Dearborn, Riley Dearborn, Wyatt Thompson, Addison Thompson, Cole Dearborn, Levi Dearborn and Charlotte Dearborn; his sisters, Phyllis Dearborn (Eric), Linda Anderson (Ken), Laurie Tobey, Becky Jackson, Karen Dearborn, Tara Howard (Jim) and Kimberly Dearborn; and his friend Henry Dowd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, stepchildren, and step grandchildren, cousins.
