He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Adkins and Idel Scarborough Adkins; his wife Lois Stone Adkins; his daughter Barbara Adkins Rickerson; his brothers, Warren Adkins, Hubert Adkins, Marvin Adkins and Walter Lynn; and his great grandchild Tyler Floyd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy A. Hasty, Wendy A. Williams (Wayne) and Janice A. Logan (Bob).
