He is survived by: his children, Sara Sheldon of California, Michael Day of Griffin, Summer Butler of Cochran and London Day of Milledgeville; and his siblings, Douglas Day (Shirley) of Danville and Joyce C. Nelson of Warner Robins. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
