She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginia Lois Chastain Ledbetter and Grady Watson Ledbetter, Jr.; her sisters, Mary Virginia, Gradee Elaine of Washington, GA. and Louise; her husband William Reece "Billy" Stapleton; her children, Virginia Lynne Stapleton and William Scott Stapleton of Advance, NC.; her son-in-law Philip Davis Kelley, Jr. of Mocksville, NC.; her grandsons, Philip Davis Kelley III of Bozeman, MT and Reece Stapleton Kelley of Mocksville, NC.; her sister Mary Viginia Hopkins of Atlanta, GA; her brother-in-law Jerry Hardeman Walker of Washington, GA.; her nieces and nephews, Kim Hopkins-Penny (Dottie), Lisa McAvoy (Ritchie), John Walker, Jennifer Jackson (Casey), Kristie Pahr (Ben) and Keith Crook (Penny); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amy McAvoy, Aubrey Witcher, Braden Davis, Kavin Walker, Madeline Jackson, Ella Jackson, Max Pahr, Micah Pahr, Caleb Wilson (Meghan), Hannah Wilson and Zachary Crook; and also Sam Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Reece Funeral Home (15448 US-80, Jeffersonville, GA 31044). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Providence Baptist Church (63 Church St, Jeffersonville, GA 31044).
