Frances left this world on November 15, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Frances may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frances touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby L. Gaultney; her daughter Elizabeth Dawn Gaultney; and her sister Jeanette Forbes. She is survived by: her children, Melody Johnson of Tifton, Lorrie Brewer (Michael) of Columbus, Doris Harden (Allen) of Ellaville, Dallas Gaultney of Plains, Vincent Gaultney of Opelika and Charles Gaultney (Mary) of Plains. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (221 S Lee St, Americus, GA 31709).
