He is survived by: his friend Bernard Teat; his daughters, Carrie Johnson (Michael) of Glenwood and Kimberly Hudson (Lester) of Peoria, Illinois; his sisters, Eula Staples of Hazel Crest, Ever Jean Frazier (Calvin) of Chicago and Martha Hunt of West Helena, Arkansas; his siblings-in-law, Gloriesteen Perry-Ellebb (Jessie) of Chicago, Charlene Dow (Gerald) of Menlo Park, Ruth Jackson of Sacramento, Adah Mitchell of Menlo Park, California, Alvin Wimbley of Memphis and Matthew Mitchell (Latana); his grandchildren, Christopher J. Howard of Lincoln, Jeffery M. Howard (Molly) of Chicago, Lester D. Hudson II of Lauderhill, Ashley N. Hudson of Pendleton and Lena Howard of Chicago, Illinois; and his great grandchild Sahana Howard of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
