He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Mooney and Esther Mooney (Steuart); and his wife Debbie Ferguson. He is survived by: his daughter Shelly of Elwood, Kansas; his grandchildren, Chris Mooney, Colby Mooney and Nathan Cepuran; his sister Barbara Simpson of Huntington Beach, California; and his nieces and nephews, Paul Higgins of St. Joseph, David Higgins of Severance, Joseph Messerschmidt of Orange, California, Sherry Higgins of Overland Park, Yulonda Rios of Rancho Mirage, Donia Hodge of Huntington Beach and Lindsey Land of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, and his beloved crew at Floyd’s Truck Repair, Gary Gilbert, Brian Burenheide, Fred Beck, and Robert Waggoner.
