With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth E. Chase of Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Chase and Ola Chase (Mapes); his wife Marjorie "Darlene" Chase (Pyle); his siblings, Vera Brock and Loren Chase; and his stepdaughter Patty Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Wolthusen of Glen Ellyn, Peggy Iniquez of Sabetha, Patricia Monfore of Tucson and Bill Chase of Bensenville, Illinois; his stepchildren, Rick Frederick (Debbie) of Sabetha and Linda Auxier (Bob) of Lincoln, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Amy Schmuck (Alan), Shelley Hendrickson (Eric), Stephanie Iniquez, Sarah Iniquez and Joe Szmuc; and his brother Lyle Chase of Union Nebraska. He is also survived by his 14 great-grandchildren; his six step-grandchildren; his step-great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sabetha Cemetery.
