He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Leland Cox and Margaret Maxine Cox (Maxey); and his siblings, Laura Cox and Jerry Cox. He is survived by: his wife Dessie Murlene Cox; his children, Tammy Cox of Overland Park, Alan Cox (Rhoda) of Sabetha and David Cox (Rena) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Emily Ruby (Peter) of Wamego, Kaitlyn Rupnick (Alex) of Hoyt, Corbin Cox (Maddison) of Tonganoxie, Keegan Cox of Omaha, Bryson Cox (Savana) of Kansas City, Braeden Cox of Blue Rapids, Marissa Cox of Holton and Baylee Countryman of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by his 11 great-grandchildren.
