With solemn reverence, we commemorate Phyllis Marie Strahm (Sabetha, Kansas), whose life came to an end on June 20, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Banwart and Ida Banwart (Benninger); her husband Elmer Strahm; her daughter Sonia Strahm Irwin; and her siblings, Berniece Banwart, Archie, Alvin, Victor, Franklin and James Banwart.
She is survived by: her son Loel Strahm of Sabetha; her grandchildren, Bryan Cole (Jessica) of Topeka, Kansas and Jennifer Dinger (Austin) of Topeka, Kansas; her great grandchildren, Logan Cole of Topeka and Toni Denner of Topeka; and her siblings, Betty Wirtz of West Bend, Caroline Banwart of Morton, Illinois and Leslie Banwart of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church (1441 Virginia St, Sabetha, KS 66534). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the Sabetha Cemetery.
