He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Sears and Odessa McGahan Sears; his wife Patricia Sears; his daughter Jodi Voss; and his siblings, Wallace Sears, Joseph Russell Sears, Harold Sears and Delores Rose.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Hanft (Christopher) and Dale Martin (Liberty); and his siblings, Herbert Sears, Rondal Sears (Denise), Ernie Sears (Linda) and Ruth Walters (Johnny). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and by nine great grandchildren, and by a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends and family.
