She was predeceased by: her father James "Bud" Edward Orsborn; and her father-in-law Bob Carter. She is survived by: her husband Jay Carter; her children, Drew Carter (Chloe) and Ashten Disney (Chaz); her mother Henrietta Orsborn; her sister Kimberlee Slone (Greg); her mother-in-law June Carter; her sister-in-law Laurel Killion; and her nephews, Ryne Slone and Brayden Slone.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emlyn Cemetery Road Emlyn Cemetery.
