With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Ray Hendrickson Sr. of Corbin, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 72. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bobby Ray may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hendrickson and Lois Holt Hendrickson; and his sister Shirley Hendrickson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith Hendrickson; his sons, Bobby Hendrickson Jr. and Tyler Hendrickson (Kristen); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Hendrickson; and his siblings, Jimmy Hendrickson, Lois "Cookie" Byrd, JoAnn "Sugar" Ball and Shelia Bingham.
A graveside service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lynn Camp Cemetery (215 Lynn Camp Church Rd, Corbin, KY 40701).
