She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Hartford and Juanita Willis Hartford; her husband Bobby Gene Hicks; and her sons, James "Jimbo" Hicks and Bobby Michael Hicks.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles D. Hicks and Roger D. Hicks; her granddaughter Samantha Combs; and her brothers, Jim Hartford (Pat) and Michael Hartford (Debra). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Bonnie Hicks, So dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless. Bonnie was like a second mom since I was a young kid. Her 4 sons were all like brothers to me. I sure loved her. So many memories to cherish until my time on earth is through. Love you “Meandean” that was our nickname for her even though she was the sweetest most thoughtful person around. She was always a classy lady. I’ll sure miss her but I will cherish all those precious memories.. prayers for the family.”
