He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Mink Stone and Louise Bryant Stone; and his wife Rhonda Hampton Stone. He is survived by: his son Jack Stone; and his sister Amanda Yntema. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested donations be made to a local VFW chapter or Pine Hill Cemetery, P.O. Box 12, Corbin, KY, 40702.
