With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Roskopf of Corbin, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 60. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Joseph Roskopf and William Frances Mitchell; his stepfather Clayton Gilbert; and his close friend Alice Helton. He is survived by: his children, Brooke Roskopf (Justin) and Joseph Roskopf (Kim); his grandchildren, Ayden Hammonds, Adelyn Hammons, Axyl Hammons and Hudson Roskopf; his stepchildren, Justin Gorsuch, Sidney Cook, Joanna Helton, Jacob Helton, Domanick Cook and Dalton Cook; his sisters, Brenda Gray (Randy) and Vicky Wagner (Danny); and his stepbrother Benny Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
