He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kersey and Carolyn Kersey; and his brother Phillip Kersey. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Kersey; his sons, Christopher Kersey (Lisa) and Justin Kersey; his grandchildren, Bentlee Kersey and Lainey Grace Kersey; and his siblings, Cheryl Parks, Carol Mullins, Andy Kersey (Tina), Danny Luigs (Cheryl) and Betsy Talyor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
