He was predeceased by : his parents, Lonnie B. Wells Sr. and Frances Elizabeth Smith Wells; his wife Joyce Marion Freeman Wells; and his son Robert Gene Wells. He is survived by : his son Michael Wells; his siblings, Bill Wells (Mary), Wayne Wells (Gerri), Mike Wells (Peggy), Debra Petrey, Karen Burdine and Kim Swafford (Jack); his granddaughters, Ginger White and Amber Damron; and his caregiver Anne Thompson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
