He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Carroll and Daymie Poynter Sawyers. He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Rudy Carroll, Jr. (Marsha) and Belinda Carroll Hamilton (Derek). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calendar Central Baptist Church (2322 N Kentucky 830, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at the Calendar McFarland Cemetery - West Corbin.
Memorial donations may be given to Central Baptist Church.
